From tradie to designer
I’ve been a fencer in Sydney for over six years, but my passion is design. After studying design at Shillington and proudly being selected as one of 19 creatives for the 2024 D&AD Shift Sydney program, I’m looking to start as a designer!
Being a tradie has prepared me more than you’d think for the design world. For starters, I’m up for a hard day’s work on the tools and experience the satisfaction of problem-solving daily. I also know how to get along with clients and other trades.
Moreover, I have learned that each job site requires a different approach, but attention to detail is crucial for success in all tasks.
